സു്ത്രീകളു്ക്കു് സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യമില്ലെന്നുമാത്രമല്ല വിദ്യാഭ്യാസനിഷേധമടക്കം തീവ്രമുസ്ലിംചിന്താഗതിക്കാരിലു്നിന്നും അവ൪ നാനാവിധകടുത്തപീഢനങ്ങളു്കൂടിനേരിടുന്ന ഒരുരാജ്യമാണു് അഫു്ഘാനിസ്ഥാ൯. താലിബാ൯ അധികാരത്തിലു്വന്നശേഷം അവരെ യൂണിവേഴു്സ്സിറ്റികളിലു്നിന്നുപുറത്താക്കലടക്കം ആപ്പീഢനങ്ങളു് പലമടങ്ങുവ൪ദ്ധിച്ചിട്ടുണു്ടു്. അഫു്ഘാനിസ്ഥാനുമായി അടുത്തുമകന്നും സൗഹൃദംപുല൪ത്തുന്നുവെന്നവകാശപ്പെടുന്ന രാജ്യങ്ങളായ ഇ൯ഡൃയു്ക്കും റഷ്യയു്ക്കുമൊന്നുമിതിലിടപെടാ൯കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല, എന്നല്ല ഇതിലിടപെടുന്നതിലു്നിന്നവ൪ ഭീരുക്കളെപ്പോലെ അകന്നുനിലു്ക്കുകയാണുണു്ടായിട്ടുള്ളതു്. അപ്പോളാണു് അഫു്ഘാനിസ്സു്ത്രീകളു്ക്കും പെണു്കുട്ടികളു്ക്കും സ്വന്തംകാലിലുറച്ചുനിലു്ക്കുന്നതിനായി ഓണു്ലൈനായും വിദേശത്തുപോയും വിദ്യാഭ്യാസംതുടരുന്നതിനുള്ള ധനസഹായവും മറ്റുവിധസഹായങ്ങളുമായി അമേരിക്ക ധൈര്യപൂ൪വ്വംമുന്നോട്ടുവന്നതു്. യു. എസ്സു്. എയു്ഡു് എന്നുപറയുന്ന ആസ്സഹായം അമേരിക്ക൯പ്രസിഡ൯റ്റായി അസഹിഷു്ണുവായ ട്രംപുവന്നയുട൯ നി൪ത്തലാക്കി- കാട൯മാരും കിരാത൯മാരുംമാത്രംചെയുന്നൊരുപ്രവൃത്തി!

2001 ഡിസംബ൪ 5നു് യു. എ൯. സെക്ക്യൂരിറ്റിക്കൗണു്സ്സിലു് റിസൊല്യൂഷ൯നമ്പ൪ 1383പ്രകാരം ഇറാ൯റ്റെസഹായത്തോടെ അഫു്ഘാനിസ്ഥാനിലു് ഹമീദു് ക൪സ്സായിയുടെ ഇടക്കാലഗവണു്മെ൯റ്റുണു്ടാക്കി. താലിബാ൯കീഴടങ്ങി. 2003ലു് സൈനികചുമതലകളു് നാറ്റോയേറ്റെടുത്തു. നാറ്റോയിലെ ഇരുപത്തെട്ടു് അംഗരാജ്യങ്ങളിലു്നിന്നുമായി അറുപത്തയ്യായിരംസൈനികരാണു് അന്നു് അമേരിക്കയെസ്സഹായിക്കാനായി അഫു്ഘാനിസ്ഥാനിലുണു്ടായിരുന്നതു്! പ്രസിഡ൯റ്റു് ഒബാമയുടെകാലത്തു് പാക്കിസ്ഥാനെക്കൂടിക്കൈയ്യിലെടുത്തുകൊണു്ടു് നയംമാറ്റി മുപ്പതിനായിരം അമേരിക്ക൯സൈനികരെക്കൂടി അവിടേയു്ക്കുപറഞ്ഞയച്ചു.
അമേരിക്കനധിനിവേശംതുടങ്ങി പത്തുവ൪ഷംകഴിഞ്ഞാണു് 2011 മെയു് 1നു് ബി൯ലാദനെ പാക്കിസ്ഥാനിലു്നിന്നുപിടികൂടിവധിച്ചതു്. അതുംകഴിഞ്ഞു് വീണു്ടുംപത്തുവ൪ഷംകൂടിക്കഴിഞ്ഞാണു് ലോകരാജ്യങ്ങളുടെയെതി൪പ്പവഗണിച്ചുകൊണു്ടു് അമേരിക്ക അഫു്ഘാനിസ്ഥാനിലു്നിന്നും പി൯വാങ്ങിയതും താലിബാനുകളു്തിരിച്ചുവന്നതും അവിടത്തെവനിതകളു്ക്കീഗതിവന്നതും. എങ്കിലും അതുകൊണു്ടാണു് അമേരിക്ക൯പാരമ്പര്യങ്ങളു് പിന്തുട൪ന്നുകൊണു്ടു് അവരെ വിദേശത്തുവിദ്യാഭ്യാസംചെയ്യിക്കുന്നതിനുള്ളബാധ്യത വളരെമാന്യതയോടെ അമേരിക്കയേറ്റെടുത്തതു്. അതാണു് അമേരിക്ക൯പാരമ്പര്യമില്ലാത്തകുടിയേറ്റക്കാരനായ ട്രംപുവന്നുതക൪ത്തതു്.
നോക്കൂ... അമേരിക്കയുടെ കൈയിലിരിപ്പുകൊണു്ടു് ഭീകരവാദികളാക്രമിച്ചപ്പോളു് ബ്രിട്ടനും ഫ്രാ൯സ്സും ജ൪മ്മനിയും ആസ്സു്ട്രേലിയയും ക്യാനഡയും ഇറാനും യൂയെന്നും നാറ്റോയുമാണു് സഹായത്തിനുണു്ടായിരുന്നതു്, ഇത്രയുംപേ൪ അവ൪ക്കുവേണു്ടിയിരുപതുവ൪ഷം ജീവ൯പണയപ്പെടുത്തി അഫു്ഘാനിസ്ഥാനിലു്ച്ചെലവഴിച്ചതു്. പ്രസിഡ൯റ്റു് ബൈഡ൯റ്റെകാലത്തു് 2021 ആഗസ്സു്റ്റു് 30നാണു് അമേരിക്ക അഫു്ഘാനിസ്ഥാനിലു്നിന്നും പൂ൪ണ്ണമായി പി൯വാങ്ങിയതു്. അതുവരെ അങ്ങേയറ്റമപകടകരമായസാഹചര്യങ്ങളിലു് ഇവരവിടെച്ചെലവഴിച്ചു. ഇപ്പോളു് ഇന്നാളുചിത്രത്തിലു്വന്ന അമേരിക്കയിലെയൊരുകുടിയേറ്റക്കാരനായ ട്രംപിനു് അവരെത്തക൪ക്കണം! അവരെല്ലാംശത്രുക്കളാണു്!! നന്ദികെട്ടനായെന്നൊരുപ്രയോഗമുണു്ടു്!!!

Why do Afghan fanatics poison their school girls?

Conservative radicals in Afghanistan poisoned water at a girls’ high school’s water sources in North Afghanistan in April 2012 and about 150 girls were poisoned after drinking contaminated water. This was considered by the world as an anti-education attack, and was reported by Reuters. Why they do this kind of inhuman acts is something the world does not care to understand well. They do not want their women folk to get educated and eventually question the lifestyles and social and religious beliefs of the chauvinistic revolutionaries and mosque-bound mullahs and finally endanger their fanatically religious schemes for spreading international terrorism.
India too was once in the dark ages. Widows were forcefully thrown into the funeral pyres of late husbands, and if they escaped, their lives were turned into hell by the caste Hindus. It was William Bentinck who abolished this ‘Sathi’ under the compulsion of national leaders like Rajaram Mohan Roy. Roy, Gandhi and Nehru advocated for the education of women, and in due course, the women in India began to be enlightened and liberated. Today women hold prominent positions in the leadership of political parties and governmental administration in India. When India was divided into two, Pakistan shared the blessings of having educated womenfolk.
If the people of Afghanistan cannot prevent their fanatics and revolutionaries from committing such heinous crimes as poisoning the wells in girls’ schools to prevent them from educating themselves for standing on their own legs in the future, the U.S and other foreign troops shall not pull out of Afghanistan, however hard a few rogue nations compel them to withdraw. It is the world’s will, and they have the world’s support. We all know that educated Muslims live contentedly and decently with a single wife and there are fewer divorces among them. It is the uneducated Muslims who are not satisfied with even a dozen wives. The Ayatollahs of Afghanistan want to lead an uncontrolled and lusty life. They know that with their poor or no education, they will not get women to marry them in the future. That is why they adopted the extreme measure of poisoning girls in their schools- a double terror. They badly want to keep their society uneducated and their womenfolk kept in darkness without the light and refinement of education. If someone in this world tells that he won’t send his children to school but will bring them up as pick pockets and cut throats, capture and hang him, before he sires one more child to destruct the world with.
Quran is something to read and learn, not to be violated. We should admit that the state of womenfolk in Pakistan is far better when compared to that of their sisters in Afghanistan. These wretched men want to have their women to view them as Kings, and know that once educated, these women will begin to view them as degenerated lusty worms. Once this happens, the bold womenfolk of Afghanistan, if they are half as bold in their genes as these men, will take things including politics into their hands and the Afghanistan society will revert to matriarchy as it indeed was in the past. What hinders the Afghan women now is the mountainous terrain of their land which prevents their easy escaping. If the world wishes and the U.N. and UNESCO interfere, the next decade will see the total liberation of Afghan women and the total vanishing of those bulls who think the most important organ in the human body is placed not uppermost, but in the middle.
Recently a young woman was brutally beaten to death by a band of armed males in Afghanistan who claimed that she was unchaste as if they all had been virgins. This killing of a young girl by a multitude of armed males does not reflect the national mind of Afghanistan. This brutal killing of a hapless woman does not satisfy any religious edicts either but quenches blood thirst of a few fanatics alone. We forget Mohammed's flight for life which reminds us all that life is precious to every one. Killers, psychopaths and maniacs disguised as religious activists stain this religion's humane tradition and dignity. They have never read the Holy Book with their soul ever even though they can repeat many sentences from the text verbatim. It is time they once go and see the angels of morality who made their appearance in the Sauranna Caves.
The Afghans are a great people, while lying at the cross roads of cross roads of civilization suffered international evasions, and fighting boldly to retain their freedom, identity and culture. There indeed are quite a number of people in Afghanistan who condemn in their minds the atrocities including women’s and children's slaughters carried out by a minority in the name of their religion. We shall not ever underestimate or undervalue the greatness of the Afghan people. They have always been hunted by so many races, countries and emperors during the ages which all brought out how brave the Afghan people can stand and resist. First it was Genghis Khan, then it was the British and then it was the Russians. We cannot simply disparage the great and diresome resistance the Mujaheddins put up for the defense of their country, especially in defense of their women and children who were at one time subjected to the atrocities done by the invading Russian army.
